Dave and his team take care of the golf course, to keep it in optimum condition for golf play. Here is the list of planned course maintenance - do bear in mind that this may need to change if the weather is bad, so keep an eye on our social media for the very latest updates.

Whatever maintenance works we have planned, we always keep disruption to an absolute minimum.

Planned winter works 2023

• Tree works
  • to widen the 5th
  • 2nd some limbs need to be removed to improve the view
  • 11th towards the barn
  • Investing in irrigation on the tees

Spring works undertaken 2023

• Intense drainage works on 7th green, during April 2023 took place, over 3 weeks.
• Tree works progamme on 1st, 2nd & 5th 
• Bunker realignment progamme continues throughout the spring and summer 

Winter works undertaken 2022

• Gorse and woodland clearance, heather regeneration 
• Drainage works between 3rd & 4th and re-mulching paths 
• Extension of the pond fencing to protect wildlife
• Ongoing bunker re-alignment programme

• Hollow coring and regularly verti draining greens, top dressing and fertilise.
