Woodpecker Café is open daily, serving delicious food, drinks and snacks from a refreshed menu using locally-sourced ingredients.
For those who would like to stay, we have indoor and outdoor seating; perfect for golfers, families and park visitors, or for those who are in a hurry we have a variety of hot and cold drinks and snacks to takeaway.
With stunning views over the golf course, a fully licensed bar and free parking Woodpecker Café is also available for private hire welcoming groups of up to 100 people.

On-the-course delivery service
If 18 holes of challenging Queen's Golf has you peckish… then we have the service for you. Our new Tee Caddy deliveries run your food and drink orders straight from Woodpecker Café out to you on the golf course!
Book in advance, or call the café directly from the 8th hole on 01202 126888 – and we’ll deliver to you hot and fresh on the 10th. We’re afraid being hungry/needing coffee will no longer fly… you’ll have to find another excuse for that shot into the bushes!

This menu is for table reservations only, not parties. This menu is only available during our kitchen operation hours, 9am - 3pm and some booking restrictions apply - please ask for details.

All Day Breakfast & A Tea (veoa, gfoa)
2 Rashers of grilled bacon, farmhouse sausage, hash brown, "Bloody Mary" baked beans, 2 fried eggs and toast. Choose from white or malted bloomer bread.
The Christmas Club
Our triple-decker toasted sandwich is a feast fit for Santa! A white bloomer layered with roast turkey and red onion chutney, honey-baked ham with mustard aioli, pigs in blankets and sage & onion stuffing. Served with chunky chips.
The Bacon Birdie Burger (gfoa)
Crispy breaded southern fried chicken fillet topped with smoky bacon creamy cranberry dressing and a salad garnish, in a brioche bun. Served with chunky chips.
Under the Tree Veg Burger (veoa)
Our fave veg burger, topped with melting brie and cranberry sauce finished with a salad garnish. Served with chunky chips
Cosy Winter Soup & A Toasted Panini (voa)

How to book
Please book your Christmas Grub and Golf teetime via our bookings system (or in the golf shop). *You will need to also book your table with the café* - to do this, please book your table, please get in touch with Woodpecker Café directly.
Opening hours
Breakfast is available between 10am - 12am, and then the lunch menu is served until 2.30pm.
If you're planning an early tee off, and would like breakfast ahead of your game, please let us know and we can make arrangements to cater for your group.
These times are for a guideline only. Please ask in the golf shop for that day's opening times to avoid disappointment.
