Boscombe Ladies Golf Club

Boscombe Ladies Golf Club is a friendly club which has been playing regularly at Queens Park for over 70 years and is one of the few ladies only clubs in England.

 

The location and reasonable pricing of our beautiful parkland course make it ideal for anyone starting to get serious about their golf.

 

Play and competitions

 

Members have handicaps ranging from full down to 8. We hold a roll-up every Tuesday morning and our Club day is Thursday, when we play a Medal or Stableford competition.

 

Our tee times are from 10-11am. We also hold fun days and team events.

 

Boscombe Ladies sends players to participate in Hampshire Golf events such as the Stoneham Cup and the Hull Shield. We also participate in the local Woods Competition. If you enjoy competing, our small membership means that you are likely to have the chance to represent the Club.

 

Social

 

Boscombe Ladies is a friendly, welcoming Club and after golf most ladies stay for a cup of tea, or something stronger, in the cafe. Throughout the year there are “Special Days” such as Invitation Day or Captain’s Day, with prizes and afternoon tea. We also hold a few social events such as Christmas Lunch.

 

Fees

Membership is just £90, including Affiliation fees. Annual membership commences on the 1st October each year. New members will pay a pro-rata amount depending on their day of joining.
