Booking terms and conditions

On the Day

When arriving at the course, all golfers must present their Booking Confirmation to the starter. Without these items you may not be allowed to play and no refund will be made.

Confirmed Tee Times

Once payment is made a Booking Confirmation will be sent. This must be presented to the Starter at time of play.

Refunds

No refund will be given on any booking unless the course is deemed unfit for play by the club management. The club management decision is full and final.

Pricing

Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect previous booking confirmations.

Transfer of Tee Times

All tee times are to be used by the named person. Someone wishing to transfer the name can do so only with the club’s agreement. The tee time is strictly not for re-sale via the player under any circumstances.

Rearranged Tee Times

You can request that your booked tee time be changed within the same day of play and appropriate charges will be incurred in line with the daily pricing policy. This transfer can only be done with the club’s agreement and the management decision is final.

Alcohol

The consumption of alcohol on the course is forbidden.

Bookings

Queen's Park management reserve the right to refuse any booking for any reason whatsoever.

Bad Weather

Queen’s Park Golf Course restricts the use of trolleys and buggies during periods of inclement weather conditions, such as periods of heavy rainfall or hard frosts, so as to protect the course and its infrastructure. It is advised that you check on the day of play, to determine whether this facility is available.

In the event of lightning, golfers out on the course are advised to cease playing. They should go to the nearest shelter until the lightning has moved away and play is not to commence until a period of 15 minutes has passed since the last lightning strike. If golfers choose to play on, this will be at their own risk.

In the case of tournaments or competitions the responsibility lies with the tournament/competition organiser. In the case of an Open Competition the responsibility would lie with a member of Queen’s Park Golf Course Staff, more specifically the Manager or Head Green keeper depending on time of day and which members of staff are present. If a member’s competition is in play then the responsibility lies with the competitions committee or someone deemed to have a similar responsibility. If play has commenced as part of an Open Competition (or any event run by Queen’s Park Golf Course) then refunds will be issued in the form of vouchers and the event will be rescheduled.

In the event of heavy fog on the golf course, the decision to stop play lies with the golfers as it is recognised that conditions can change from minute by minute. Golfers on the first tee will be advised of the conditions when signing in. If golfers decide to play but do not complete the full 18 holes then refunds will not apply. In an organised event the decision to stop or suspend play lies with the event organiser. If play has commenced as part of an Open Competition (or any event run by Queen’s Park Golf Course) then refunds will be issued in the form of vouchers and the event will be rescheduled.

When heavy rain is expected, the holes are moved to higher or drier ground, where possible. If it is still impossible to putt then the course will be temporarily closed and play suspended. If play has commenced as part of an Open Competition (or any event run by Queen’s Park Golf Course) then refunds will be issued in the form of vouchers and the event will be rescheduled.

Playing golf in frosty conditions can cause irreparable damage to the playing surfaces. When thaw is evident play will be delayed or postponed, thereby reducing the possibility of damage to the grass

Buggy Policy

Please read our buggy policy and course rules.

Amendments and Cancellations

All amendments to or cancellations of a Booking must be notified to us by the lead name by contacting us.

Golf played on temporary greens and tees is non-refundable and is considered to be an accepted part of playing golf. Please note that trolley and buggy bans occur frequently when a course is wet and are determined by the Head Greenkeeper or Course Manager on the day.

If the management is forced to close the course on the grounds of health & safety, then any customers deposits paid are refundable or credited to a future booking. Only the Head Greenkeeper or Course Manager on the day can deem the course closed.

We cannot be held responsible should inclement weather prevail.
