Getting here and parking
Queen's Park Pavilion
Queen's Park West Drive
Bournemouth
BH8 9BY
Dedicated parking is available for your visit. Park up at Queen's Park Pavilion (golf course) on Queen's Park West Drive and stop for a bite to eat, or at Queen's Park South Drive to enjoy a short walk over to Drover's Pond. Take a look at our parking options.
Dog-friendly
We welcome responsible dog walkers at Queen's Park. Please rememer that your dog should be under close control in any park, whether it's on a lead or not. If your dog will not respond to a call to heel, it should be on a lead.
We would ask you that you do not allow your dog into the pond, where there are often breeding or resting wildfowl. Please also do not encourage your dog to run across the prepared playing surfaces such as greens, bunkers and tees where they can cause damage.

Accessibility at Queen’s Park Golf Course
Queen’s Park Golf Course is set within a public park and offers a welcoming, open environment for golfers and visitors alike. While the natural parkland setting means some areas are uneven or sloping, we aim to make our course and facilities as accessible as possible and are always happy to help visitors plan ahead.
Arriving at Queen’s Park
Free on‑site parking is available close to the pavilion. From the car park, step‑free access is provided via both a foot ramp and a vehicle ramp. Additional pedestrian access is available from surrounding park paths and pavements.
Around the pavilion, surfaces are mainly level and tarmac. Elsewhere within the park and across the course, paths may include gravel or grass and can be affected by weather conditions.

The Pavilion, Golf Shop & Café
The pavilion is fully step‑free and served by large, automatic entrance doors.
All key facilities are located on the ground floor, including:
- the golf shop and sign‑in desk
- changing rooms
- public toilets and an accessible toilet
The Woodpecker Café is located on the first floor and is accessible via an internal lift, with step‑free access throughout once inside.
Toilets & Facilities
An accessible toilet is available on the ground floor, accessed via the foyer, and operates with a RADAR key. Public toilets are also located on the ground floor.
Accessibility on the Golf Course
Queen’s Park is a mature parkland course, with natural hills, slopes and dips across the layout. These features vary from hole to hole and change with the seasons.
A recommended buggy route is in place, designed to follow flatter ground where possible. This route is also used for smaller personal vehicles and wheeled access. While some approaches to individual holes may benefit from staff advice, players with physical disabilities are able to play the full course.
Because the course is outdoors, conditions can change, and some areas may be more challenging after wet or frosty weather.

Golf Buggies & Mobility Support
We actively support the use of golf buggies as a reasonable adjustment for players with disabilities or restricted mobility. Buggy use is governed by our published Buggy Policy, which balances access with safety and course conditions. Alternative or flatter routes may be provided when required.
We recommend checking course conditions on the day of play and speaking to the golf team if you have specific access needs.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the pavilion, café and golf course areas, in line with standard guidance.
